Dinner was at the Avila lounge at Ocean Resort. Saturday was spent getting new player cards at Borgata and Hard Rock, as our cards expired last January. Renovating the pool during the summer? Really? A thank you to Caesars for the room comp, but Caesars has a long way to go to justify being a loyal Caesars customer as we had been for about 25 years. Our room was recently renovated and so in good condition, and had a great ocean view. Other than a lame pizza shop in the former buffet room, Caesars does have any affordable food options. A large portion of the first floor casino was walled off for construction, the Laurel Lounge was open but has been relocated to a closed former Roma coffee shop, and the pool area was closed and under construction. With a morning stop in CT to have breakfast with our sons, we arrived in AC in mid afternoon. I was able to score a comped Saturday night room at Caesars AC.
A mohito is a mint flavored drink made with rum and lime. Today is a day of summer sun and clouds, and a perfect day to sit on the patio and write a report about our Atlantic City getaway trip the last week in June.
